Meet Mingus Septet Marten Design, April 27, 2023

We’re always excited to announce the launch of a new speaker, but this year, we’re particularly thrilled to introduce Mingus Septet to the Marten family.

We have concentrated all our efforts on the newest Mingus model, combining years of R&D into the creation of custom diamond and beryllium drivers. Early listening has proved very promising, with significant improvements in performance, and a big thumbs-up at Marten HQ.

Mingus Septet will be launched next week—ahead of the premier at High End Munich 2023—so keep an eye out here and on social media for more details.

Precision and power combined.

Mingus Septet is a heavy-weight four-way speaker that boasts seven drivers. Custom Marten pure diamond tweeters and beryllium high midrange drivers ensure every detail is captured with clarity and precision.

Our first-order crossover provides open, clean, and dynamic sound, while the advanced damping mats, wooden tops and bottoms, and 4mm aluminium plate ensure a neutral cabinet with superb resonance control. Marten Isolators further reduce resonance by separating the cabinet from the supporting surface.
