Succasunna, NJ – Orchard Audio today announced the release of a new Rolling Input Buffer Upgrade for the Starkrimson Mono Premium and Starkrimson 25 Mono Premium amplifiers. This enhancement was created after extensive customer feedback and repeated requests from users who wanted greater flexibility in shaping the input stage of their amplifiers.
The new upgrade adds a dedicated input buffer board equipped with a DIP‑8 socket, enabling op‑amp rolling. This gives users the ability to fine‑tune the amplifier’s sonic character, system synergy, and gain structure with any compatible dual DIP‑8 op‑amp.
The buffer board includes a Sparkos SS3602 dual op‑amp pre-installed and offers selectable 0 dB or 6 dB gain, allowing users to optimize the amplifier for their specific system needs. Installation is performed directly at Orchard Audio to ensure proper integration and performance.

Customers simply send in their units for installation and testing.
