At High End Munich in May this year we presented our “library” stand concept in which the new Alumine Five LE took pride of place and provided a sound which impressed both visitors and the press alike. The Alumine Five LE is a limited edition version of the new Alumine Five SX and only varies from this model in its black and gold livery and by some aesthetic appointments.

Early October has seen the first Alumine SX models being shipped to customers around the world. It is a truly impressive speaker and looks beautiful in the metallic light grey colourway atop its elegant plinth. It is the latest and most sophisticated incarnation of the Alumine Five, taking the Special Edition version and further enhancing it with the Alumine Five platform for added stability and ajustability. Even more fine-tuning possibilities have been added with an all-new room control panel which allows the sound of the speaker to be matched to the room acoustics pertaining in a given room. This is feature which was orginally introduced on the Reference series speakers and the Alumine Five is the first in the Alumine line to be equipped with it.

The Alumine Five SE has already received the Product of the Year accolade from The Absolute Sound. The Alumine Five SX is set to take Almine performance to even greater heights. For existing Alumine Five owners, the good news is that the Platform can be ordered and retrofitted to their existing speakers.
