Dynavector New CP-1 phono cable has been released. Dynavector, September 27, 2024

With a half-century legacy of crafting MC cartridges, we confidently introduce the CP-1 phono cable.
Born from countless hours of prototyping and listening, the CP-1 phono cable delivers a powerful sound boasting an overwhelming resolution that conveys the delicate tones of instruments and the subtle breaths of the vocalist. It reproduces the dynamic atmosphere of a live house or an expansive concert hall elevating your listening experience.
The CP-1 phono cable is designed to deliver audio signals cut in analog records without loss, bringing out the maximum potential of enjoying Dynavector phono cartridges and tonearm. With its natural and well-balanced frequency response from low to high, this cable delivers optimal performance not only for Dynavector phono cartridges but for all phono cartridges and tonearms.

Features of phono cable CP-1

Unique 6 Core Structure

Featuring a custom 6 core conductor configuration, this cable is optimized for unbalanced RCA connections. With a specific focus on the positive signal path, this design minimizes high-frequency interference. The result is a cable that ensures a clear, responsive, well balanced and immersive listening experience of your vinyl collection.

Dual-Layer Shielding with Ultra-Fine Strands

As an unbalanced cable, we employ a dual-layer shielding structure.
In addition to the first shield that encases the entire cable, the second shield is dedicated to the positive conductor, providing superior protection for the delicate signals produced by your cartridge.
This configuration is perfect for MC cartridges that generate delicate nuances and are highly sensitive to external noise.

Ultra-Fine Stranded Conductor with 50μm Strands

With careful selection, our cable features a stranded conductor composed of countless ultra-fine, high-purity copper strands measuring less than 50μm. This extremely fine stranded construction goes beyond simply achieving exceptional sound quality. The fine construction provides the necessary density for accurate transmission while maintaining flexibility for easy installation, making it an excellent choice for tight spaces and complex system configurations.

Collet Chuck RCA Plug

Designed exclusively for Dynavector cables, our RCA plug employs a collet chuck type that tightens the earth contact by rotating the outer sleeve. This provides a more secure and robust connection compared to the conventional RCA plug (connecting with spring tension).
With a secure connection, the collet chuck plug gives optimal conductivity without any loosening, resulting in excellent sound quality over a long period of time.
Furthermore, the contacts are plated with high-quality rhodium, providing a thin, durable layer that keeps the contacts clean for an extended period while minimizing the impact of the plating on sound quality.

5-Pin DIN Phono Plug

The tonearm connection features a standard 5-pin DIN female connector. This configuration ensures compatibility with a broad range of tonearms available on the market, including the popular DV 507 MkII.

Introducing Bit Diffusion Technology!
Introducing MSB’s latest innovation: Bit Diffusion Technology. This new technology was invented by MSB’s Chief Circuit Designer, Dustin Symanski, while working on the forthcoming Sentinel DAC project with astounding results. He was able to adapt this into the Cascade DAC with a minor hardware update, but as for the performance gain, this is much more than a small tweak! It is a significant, technological step forward in musicality, resulting in wonderfully natural playback.
