We’re proud to announce the launch of our new flagship network switch, the S5.
Inheriting the performance DNA of the S1, which set new standards for streaming playback quality, the S5 brings together the know-how DELA has accumulated from the S100, S100/2, S10, and S1, in a full-sized, minimalistic yet striking chassis design.
As part of our continual innovation programme, the S5 evolves from the popular S10 and now offers four SFP+ ports, supporting 10Gbps modules and DELA’s own C1 direct attach cables, alongside seven Neutrik RJ45 LAN ports for robust connectivity.
The new model introduces several key upgrades for audiophile network performance, including:
- HS-CC (Highly Stable Chassis Construction): aluminium top and sides, stainless steel rear, and a rigid 3mm steel base for enhanced stability.
- Super Clear Dynamic Power Supply: delivering clean, powerful energy for consistent performance.
- NDK ultra-low jitter clock: ensuring precise signal timing.
- Link speed selector: adjust speeds for each port (RJ45 at 10/100Mbps or 1Gbps; SFP+ at 1Gbps or 10Gbps) with unused ports fully disabled to reduce noise.
- Advanced LED control: front and rear indicators can be dimmed or turned off entirely after setup.
Like all DELA products, the S5 is hand-made in Japan, at our factory in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, renowned for its world-leading manufacturing heritage.
