Triton - integrated amplifier Bonawatt, November 28, 2024

Mounted on anti-vibration spikes, the Triton- 250W integrated amplifier offers powerful capabilities, combining the warmth of tube sound with modern, high-efficiency power. The signal conversion between the tube and power sections, based on 16 parallel operational amplifiers, ensures no coloration of the audio signal, allowing the tube section to fully define the tonal character. Triton features two slots on the rear panel for expansion cards developed in collaboration with MuzgAUDIO, the creators of the Reference AUDIO DAC-01S, providing flexibility for integrating multiple functions into a single hybrid system.

Unlike our fully tube amplifiers named after rivers, Triton—named after the mythological figure who was half-man, half-fish—perfectly embodies the hybrid nature of this model, blending the tradition of tube sound with modern technology. Remote control functions via the optional RC2 remote are consistent with the knob-button on the front panel, providing full control of the device. The preheating of the tubes and their cooling after shutdown are carefully designed to ensure safety and minimize the risk of system damage.

MSB Technology
Introducing Bit Diffusion Technology!
Introducing MSB’s latest innovation: Bit Diffusion Technology. This new technology was invented by MSB’s Chief Circuit Designer, Dustin Symanski, while working on the forthcoming Sentinel DAC project with astounding results. He was able to adapt this into the Cascade DAC with a minor hardware update, but as for the performance gain, this is much more than a small tweak! It is a significant, technological step forward in musicality, resulting in wonderfully natural playback.
