Avantgarde Acoustic is proud to unveil its latest innovation in high-performance audio: the Twin Sub, premiering this week at High End 2025 in Munich.

Engineered as a compact yet powerful low-frequency solution, the Twin Sub is designed to perfectly complement the acclaimed TRIO G3 horn system while offering exceptional versatility for use with other loudspeakers such as the DUO and MEZZO. With its intelligent design, flexible connectivity, and elegant integration, the Twin Sub redefines what a modern subwoofer can be.

At the heart of the Twin Sub are two XB12 12-inch drivers, each equipped with a massive 6-inch voice coil and an advanced motor structure for ultra-low distortion and maximum control. These are powered by a Class-D amplifier delivering up to 1,000 watts, managed by a fully integrated DSP controller for precise room and system tuning.

A key highlight of the Twin Sub is its downfiring architecture: both drivers and oversized reflex ports radiate downward, coupling efficiently with the room and increasing low-end output by up to 6 dB – all while maintaining compact dimensions. This innovation enables impressively deep, dynamic bass with lower excursion, reduced amplifier load, and higher efficiency.

Whether used in stereo mode with a single unit or in dual-mono configuration with a pair, the Twin Sub adapts to any space – from dedicated listening rooms to elegant living environments.
