As the 5-day IFA trade fair in Berlin gets underway, the Heilbronn-based audio specialist presents its MMX 330 PRO gaming headset with an open design. The German-made model brings together spatial sound, the latest studio driver technology, a high-quality condenser microphone and exceptional comfort. 

Natural sound from open design

The open design of the MMX 330 PRO means that it boasts natural and spatial sound, which can propagate well thanks to the acoustically transparent properties. This reduces the feeling of "in-head localisation", where game sound is perceived close to the head and not as an external source in the room. 

“With the MMX 330 PRO, we are expanding our portfolio in the area of high-quality gaming headsets. Having an open counterpart to the popular MMX 300 PRO is something that customers have desired for a long time”, says Marius Hanold, Team Leader in the R&D department. “Now our customers are free to decide whether they prefer the natural and spatial sound characteristics of the MMX 330 PRO or the powerful and immersive MMX 300 PRO”, he adds. 

Proven driver technology for studio-level sound

With the MMX 330 PRO, the dynamic STELLAR.45 driver ensures a remarkable acoustic experience. It is the centrepiece of the headset and already features in various studio headphones such as the DT 700 PRO X, DT 900 PRO X or the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition anniversary version. ​ 

Whether for first-person shooters or atmospheric role-playing games, the MMX 330 PRO offers a differentiated and accurate acoustic representation of the action. This means that enemy footsteps or shots can be located at lightning speed. The balanced sound tuning means that it also performs well when playing music – be it an iconic soundtrack or a music track. ​ ​ ​ 

Clear shot calls thanks to high-quality condenser microphone

Voice commands are the difference between victory or defeat in competitive games. That's why the MMX 330 PRO has a high-quality condenser microphone that reproduces voices naturally. 

Thanks to the cardioid pattern, the focus is on what is said. This means that even in the heat of the fiercest battle, every shot call reaches the allies and disturbing background noise is minimised.

Unrivalled comfort 

Thanks to the velour ear pads, the MMX 330 PRO offers exceptional comfort. The open design of the headphones also reduces heat build-up and ensures good air circulation.

The soft memory foam enables the headband pad to adapt perfectly to head shape. The integrated fontanel cut-out avoids tender areas on the head and further enhances comfort. All this means the time whizzes by, even when playing for hours on end. 

A durable companion with precision "Made in Germany" 

The MMX 330 PRO open gaming headset is made by hand in Germany and is characterised by excellent workmanship thanks to beyerdynamic's decades of manufacturing expertise. To align with sustainability concerns, beyerdynamic also offers spare parts for the MMX 330 PRO to replace items such as ear pads, headbands and cables. 

Every headset is personal and unique ​ 

Thanks to the MANUFAKTUR online configurator, the MMX 330 PRO can be highly customised: a decorative ring, a picture or logo of your choice on the ear cup or even a personalised engraving on the fork. The customised gaming headset is manufactured by hand at the company's site in Heilbronn.
