The new generation OPEL GRANDLAND features a blend of elegant, sleek, and dynamic exterior design, paired with a spacious, versatile, and highly comfortable interior. This feeling of well-being is further enhanced by an innovative lighting system, ergonomic seating, smart storage solutions, and high-quality audio.
In terms of performance, the vehicle is built on the STLA Medium electric platform, which includes a flat battery and various alternative propulsion modes, along with a wide range of driver assistance systems. The Focal hi-fi system provides top-tier audio performance, delivering an immersive sound experience that is rich in emotions and sensations. This combination elevates the pleasure of driving.
SURROUND SOUND AND ENHANCED SENSATION
The Focal hi-fi system provides both the driver and passengers with a unique and immersive listening experience. Each speaker's placement has been meticulously positioned to ensure optimal sound quality. The central speaker, located in the dashboard, can reproduce the full spectrum of the human voice as well as various instruments, enhancing the overall stereo image.
For an even more immersive and personalised experience, two listening modes are available: "All-Passengers", which optimizes stereo sound for each passenger, and "Front Optimised", which widens and deepens the stereo stage for those in the front seats. The sound is enveloping, offering clear and detailed vocals along with deep, impactful bass.

THE PREMIUM HI-FI SYSTEM IN DETAIL
The audio installation includes ten speakers with Focal's exclusive technologies:
- 4 woofers/midrange (4x50W/2ohms) and a central speaker (30W/2ohms) featuring Polyglass technology for uncompromising sound balance and precision. The woofers are designed with a powerful magnet for perfect control, a long coil for high power handling and deep bass, and an exponential cone profile for extended bandwidth.
- 4 TNF tweeters (4x15W/4ohms) with inverted aluminium domes, a technology that offers optimal sound dispersion and very detailed sound.
- The elliptical subwoofer (3x50W/2ohms), positioned in the boot, incorporates Power Flower™ technology and delivers powerful bass.
- A 12-channel amplifier - 690 watts using boosted Class D technology for high power/consumption efficiency, low distortion, and strong energy control.
FOCAL TECHNOLOGIES
POLYGLASS MEMBRANE
This exclusive Focal technology is used on the 4 x 165 mm woofers/mid-range loudspeakers installed in the vehicle doors, as well as on the center channel positioned in the middle of the dashboard.
Thanks to the application of fine glass microbeads to a cellulose pulp membrane, the Polyglass membrane combines the excellent damping of paper with the rigidity of glass.
A compromise between mass, rigidity and damping, resulting in a frequency response curve with exemplary linearity for high-definition sound reproduction.
POWER FLOWER™
The system embeds a 20 cm Power Flower™ subwoofer positioned in the vehicle's frame structure, behind the trunk side trim.
Directly inherited from the technologies of Utopia's iconic loudspeakers, the Power Flower™ replaces the simple ferrite usually used on loudspeakers and is the source of a powerful magnetic flux.
The result: stable, healthy bass reproduction down to extreme sound pressure levels.
INVERTED DOME TWEETER
The system is equipped with four aluminum inverted dome tweeters positioned in the rear-view mirror gussets and rear doors.
This technology, patented by Focal for over 35 years, guarantees precise, detailed treble reproduction thanks to its omnidirectional diffusion and light weight.
The Poron surround suspension, derived from the tweeters of the emblematic Utopia line, is very light, for enhanced sensitivity. What's more, its flexibility allows the speaker to be used at lower frequencies. Placed under the aluminum dome, it does not interfere with the signal emitted by the latter, and produces no distortion. The inverted dome shape offers controlled directionality.
