Seamless Internet Radio Experience with Naim

At Naim, we understand that while many of our users enjoy curating their own music playlists, there are times when you just want to lean back and let the radio take the reins. That's why we've always offered a comprehensive internet radio solution. Now, we're thrilled to introduce an even better experience with the launch of our own in-house internet radio server. This new solution brings the power of choice to your fingertips, ensuring you enjoy the very best in radio listening.

A Collaboration for Excellence

We've teamed up with XPeri to bring our internet radio server in-house. This transition not only boosts reliability but also unlocks a range of exciting new features:

  • Access to over 45,000 stations worldwide
  • Advanced metadata for artist, track, and album details on many stations
  • Emphasis on high-quality audio streams
  • Enhanced station categorisation
  • High-resolution station artwork
  • Automated station scanning
  • Access to station podcasts where available

As part of this upgrade, the Focal & Naim app will seamlessly update your favorite stations and presets to work with the new server, ensuring an uninterrupted listening experience.

Expanding Global Streaming Capabilities

Beyond enhancing our internet radio service, we’re also expanding our streaming options. TIDAL’s new 24-bit, 192 kHz streaming tier, TIDAL Max, is now fully supported through both the Focal & Naim app and TIDAL Connect, delivering a superior audio experience. Additionally, we’ve made significant strides in supporting our Chinese customers, with Q-Play now available on Naim products. QQ Music users can now effortlessly stream their favourite tracks by selecting their Naim device directly from the QQ Music app, ensuring a smooth and immersive listening experience.
