A wide body was needed in order for quite a large DSL 710 (the same one is used in the flagship - CD31) with the converter on the PCM1738, the advanced volume control scheme (there are no pass-through capacitors in its circuit) and, finally, double power supply system could be easily placed inside the device. Note that in this list we did not say anything about the end cascades. Because these details occupy the minimum space - the amplifiers assembled on discrete elements turned out to be so compact, because they work in digital D class. Analogue end cascades of the same quality as in Primare's top amps would simply not fit here. Primare CDI10 is equipped with a DAB/FM receiver module and allows you to connect additional sources, it has two line and two digital outputs. As for inputs, there are three pairs of RCA sockets on the rear panel and one socket on the front for iPod (it also serves as an output to the headphones).
