While these stereos are space-saving, they offer the same top-notch performance as larger hi-fi systems. The micro FM tuner uses a modern quartz PLL synthesizer tuning system, which ensures absolutely stable frequency adjustment without drift. The micro cassette deck is equipped with a dual-capstan drive mounted on a precise die-cast chassis. It offers a two-head configuration, separate settings for bias and equalizer, featherweight logic control, as well as a Dolby noise reduction system. The power amplifier of the series is unmatched for its size. This compact "Direct Coupled" power amplifier delivers 70 watts of power per channel, with a total harmonic distortion of just 0.01% (at 30 watts per channel). The micro preamp has been perfectly matched to the power amplifier to transmit signals from any source without loss. It has a built-in moving coil preamp, a signal-to-noise ratio of 77 dB, and distortion of just 0.005%. The series is rounded off by an elegant design with Champagne Gold front panels.
