The Monacor Number SAM-2 is a powerful 200W rated subwoofer active module that is ideal for building high-quality active subwoofers. Thanks to the proven transistor technology, it offers precise control with a high output reserve. The equipment includes a variable low-pass crossover from 50 Hz to 150 Hz (18 dB), an adjustable high-pass for satellites, a semiparametric bass boost between 30 Hz and 50 Hz and an infinitely variable phase shifter from 0° to 180°. An integrated ground-lift switch ensures zero hum for unbalanced connections. Protection circuits against overheating, short circuits and DC voltage ensure safe operation even under high loads. The module delivers 200 W into 4 ohms and 125 W into 8 ohms, with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 70 dB.
