Technology and Operation

Unlike traditional mains conditioners and filters that operate in series (and often compress dynamics or alter the sound), the QX4 operates in parallel with the AC power line.

4 Field Generators: The chassis houses four QRT modules (double the number found in the entry-level QX2 model), designed to act upon the electromagnetic field.

No Current Limiting: Since it does not place conventional passive filters (such as inductors or isolation transformers) in the path of the mains supply, it does not restrict the peak current required by amplifiers, nor does it alter impedance or grounding continuity.

Active Treatment: QRT technology generates a field that reduces the impact of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI), mitigating noise spikes and phase/timing errors in the mains voltage.
