The MP11 is a powerful mono block power amplifier which offers excellent sound quality even when driving difficult loads. The 135 watts per channel output stages use selected and matched MOSFET devices to give a maximum current rating of over 25 amps allowing high power delivery into even 2 ohm loads.

A mono block form of construction has been chosen with each channel being completely independent with its own 300VA toroidal power transformer.This form of construction prevents any dynamic crosstalk and preserves a stable and detailed soundstage.

No fuses on the power supply rails. In audio amplifiers the use of conventional fuses in the supply rails causes degradation of the sound quality. Power is normally fed to the output stage from large reservoir capacitors along thick low impedance cables or printed circuit tracks.

However this power is then fed through a very thin wire in the fuse link and as the current increased this thin fuse wire heats up; its resistance rises and so destroys the benefit of using the thick cables and tracks. Instead the MP11 has no supply fuses to degrade the sound quality. Instead the current drawn by the amplifier is sensed through an isolating optocoupler whose output is fed to a protection board. In the event of excessively high currents or a DC offset voltage the protection system disconnects the mains power by energising a switching relay.

In this way the CENTO offers good sound quality without compromise and good reliability.

The circuit design of this amplifier is novel with all the stages being fully complementary and balanced. Careful design and the use of computer simulations has enabled MP11 to achieve a very wide open-loop bandwidth. The open-loop frequency response (that is without negative feed back) of this amplifier extends beyond 30 kHz compared to typical figures of about 3 kHz for most competing amplifiers. The result is a constant low level of negative feedback right across the audio band ensuring a clean, detailed, and natural quality to all the high notes.

No capacitors are used in the signal path. Their use being limited to power supply decoupling and phase compensation. The use of new DC Servo Control System ensures excellent stability with very low levels of colouration. Only the best selected components are used for MP11 amplifiers.

The circuit boards are of high grade double sided copper glass-fibre material. All resistors are 1% metal-film types whilst the capacitors are selected film types or audio grade power-supply type and all the internal wiring uses Hi-End high purity cabling.

Der MP11 ist ein leistungsstarker Monoblock-Leistungsverstärker, der auch bei schwierigen Lasten eine hervorragende Klangqualität bietet. Die 135-Watt-pro-Kanal-Ausgangsstufen verwenden ausgewählte und abgestimmte MOSFET-Bauelemente, um einen maximalen Nennstrom von über 25 Ampere zu erreichen, was eine hohe Leistungsabgabe an sogar 2 Ohm-Lasten ermöglicht.

Es wurde eine Monoblockbauweise gewählt, bei der jeder Kanal mit einem eigenen 300VA Ringkerntransformator völlig unabhängig ist. Diese Bauform verhindert jegliches dynamisches Übersprechen und erhält ein stabiles und detailreiches Klangbild.

Keine Sicherungen auf den Stromschienen. Bei Audioverstärkern führt die Verwendung herkömmlicher Sicherungen in den Versorgungsschienen zu einer Verschlechterung der Klangqualität. Der Ausgangsstufe wird normalerweise Strom von großen Speicherkondensatoren entlang dicker Kabel mit niedriger Impedanz oder Leiterbahnen mit gedruckter Schaltung zugeführt.

Allerdings wird dieser Strom dann durch einen sehr dünnen Draht im Sicherungseinsatz geführt und bei steigendem Strom erwärmt sich dieser dünne Sicherungsdraht; sein Widerstand steigt und zerstört so den Nutzen der Verwendung der dicken Kabel und Leiterbahnen. Stattdessen hat der MP11 keine Versorgungssicherungen, um die Klangqualität zu verschlechtern. Stattdessen wird der vom Verstärker gezogene Strom durch einen isolierenden Optokoppler erfasst, dessen Ausgang einer Schutzplatine zugeführt wird. Bei zu hohen Strömen oder einer DC-Offsetspannung trennt das Schutzsystem die Netzspannung durch Anziehen eines Schaltrelais.

Auf diese Weise bietet der CENTO eine gute Klangqualität ohne Kompromisse und eine gute Zuverlässigkeit.

Das Schaltungsdesign dieses Verstärkers ist neuartig, da alle Stufen vollständig komplementär und symmetrisch sind. Sorgfältiges Design und die Verwendung von Computersimulationen haben es MP11 ermöglicht, eine sehr große Open-Loop-Bandbreite zu erreichen. Der Open-Loop-Frequenzgang (dh ohne negative Rückkopplung) dieses Verstärkers erstreckt sich über 30 kHz im Vergleich zu typischen Werten von etwa 3 kHz für die meisten konkurrierenden Verstärker. Das Ergebnis ist ein konstant niedriges negatives Feedback im gesamten Audioband, das eine saubere, detaillierte und natürliche Qualität aller hohen Töne gewährleistet.

Im Signalpfad werden keine Kondensatoren verwendet. Ihre Verwendung beschränkt sich auf die Entkopplung der Stromversorgung und die Phasenkompensation. Der Einsatz des neuen DC Servo Control Systems sorgt für eine hervorragende Stabilität bei sehr geringer Verfärbung. Für MP11-Verstärker werden nur die besten ausgewählten Komponenten verwendet.

Die Leiterplatten sind aus hochwertigem doppelseitigem Kupfer-Glasfaser-Material. Alle Widerstände sind 1% Metallfilm-Typen, während die Kondensatoren ausgewählte Film-Typen oder Audio-Grade-Netzteile sind und die gesamte interne Verkabelung hochreine Hi-End-Kabel verwendet.

MP11, zorlu yükleri sürerken bile mükemmel ses kalitesi sunan güçlü bir mono blok güç amplifikatörüdür.
