The Signature 200iQ delivers 100W stereo and 200W mono into 1-8 ohms and demonstrates VAC's superior ability to design and build stunning music machines.

The strength of this electronics is the use of the revolutionary VAC iQ Continuous Automatic Bias System™ power tube bias control system.

The iQ system is a VAC patent originally implemented for the flagship Statement amplifiers and made available since 2016 on the Signature 200iQ power amplifier.

This system allows each power tube to operate at its optimal bias point (quiescent current) at all times, regardless of the power required by the speakers.

This means that no matter the operating conditions (speaker power demand or tube wear), the tube operates at its optimum, ensuring maximum linearity.

The iQ circuit is also very useful for the safety of your system: it prevents damage due to tube failure by intervening even before the fuse blows (and thus long before any damage occurs to the circuitry or speakers).
