The Rohde & Schwarz SCDF is a professional component generator from the field of video and television measurement technology. The device is designed for the generation of defined test signals and image patterns and is aimed at applications in the studio, service, test field and professional signal processing. The front already shows the clear laboratory structure with permanently assigned test images and signal sequences, while the back further underlines the classification as a specialized measuring and testing instrument. Comparable Rohde & Schwarz Component Generators from the same device world were offered for professional CCVS and video test applications, which supports the technical positioning of the SCDF within this device group. A total of 30 selectable signal or test image positions are available on the front. Among other things, various grids and geometry signals, stair signals, sweep functions, VTR related test patterns and defined Y U V component functions are visible. In addition, the device has separate control panels for the components Y, you and V, a sync in G function, indicators for sync, local and remote as well as a sequence section. The back is extensively equipped and shows PAL signal, component connections for R, G, B as well as Y, U, V, plus Sync, Parallel I O, RS 232 and other interfaces. Der Rohde & Schwarz SCDF ist ein professioneller Component Generator aus dem Bereich der Video und Fernsehmesstechnik. Das Gerät ist für die Erzeugung definierter Testsignale und Bildmuster ausgelegt und richtet sich an Anwendungen in Studio, Service, Prüffeld und professioneller Signalbearbeitung. Bereits die Front zeigt den klaren Laboraufbau mit fest zugeordneten Testbildern und Signalsequenzen, während die Rückseite die Einordnung als spezialisiertes Mess und Prüfinstrument zusätzlich unterstreicht. Vergleichbare Rohde & Schwarz Component Generatoren aus derselben Gerätewelt wurden für professionelle CCVS und Video Testanwendungen angeboten, was die technische Positionierung des SCDF innerhalb dieser Gerätegruppe stützt. Auf der Frontseite stehen insgesamt 30 anwählbare Signal beziehungsweise Testbildpositionen zur Verfügung.
