Countless hours of measuring and Critical listening have gone into making the finest loudspeaker available. An impedance curve and electrical phase character like an electrostatic speaker, the final blend of art and technology have made The Princess V an uncompromising work of art.

Enclosure:

The multifaceted enclosure is handcrafted in our own facilities by Danish artisans in a 1” HDF sandwich material covered by 1” solid wood.

The design was made to optimise the off-axis response and to avoid diffraction. In order to minimize acoustical waves, there are no parallel front, back, top or bottom panels. The slant of the front panel corrects the phase and timing between tweeter and woofer.

Transducers:

The Scan-Speak tweeter is a non-Ferro fluid 1” hand coated silk dome with a SD-2 motor, low compression design, and non-resonant chamber. The tweeter performs effortlessly in sonic behaviours.

The 5” Audiotechnology midrange is hand built and specially designed for optimal effect in this enclosure. The driver features a cone that has been uniquely shaped for this moving system and a vented magnet system that includes Symmetric Drive to optimise the linear directivity.

Networks:

The speaker includes an acoustical second order crossover. Every component has been chosen for its sonic and musical behaviour, with no consideration for cost. The crossover is hardwired with silver solder. The internal wire is an especially elliptical tube silver wire from Stereovox.

The name?

The Princess V boasts an extremely linear frequency response, on-axis as well as of-axis. This makes it a very accurate loudspeaker in a “Real World” environment, becoming “InCognito” in almost every room.

Unzählige Stunden des Messens und kritischen Zuhörens wurden in die Herstellung des besten verfügbaren Lautsprechers geflossen. Eine Impedanzkurve und eine elektrische Phasenfigur wie ein elektrostatischer Lautsprecher – die endgültige Verbindung von Kunst und Technologie hat The Princess V zu einem kompromisslosen Kunstwerk gemacht.

Gehege:

Das facettenreiche Gehäuse wird in unseren eigenen Einrichtungen von dänischen Kunsthandwerkern aus einem 1" HDF-Sandwichmaterial mit 2,5 cm Massivholz gefertigt.

Das Design wurde entwickelt, um die Off-Axis-Reaktion zu optimieren und Beugung zu vermeiden. Um akustische Wellen zu minimieren, gibt es keine parallelen vorderen, rücken, oberen oder unteren Paneele. Die Neigung der Frontplatte korrigiert Phase und Timing zwischen Hochtöner und Woofer.

Wandler:

Der Scan-Speak Hochtöner ist eine 1" handbeschichtete Seidenkuppel ohne Ferro-Flüssigkeit mit SD-2-Motor, niedriger Kompression und einer nicht-resonanten Kammer. Der Hochtöner wirkt mühelos in klanglichen Verhaltensweisen.

Netzwerke:

Der Lautsprecher verfügt über eine akustische Frequenzweiche zweiter Ordnung. Jede Komponente wurde wegen ihres klanglichen und musikalischen Verhaltens ausgewählt, ohne Rücksicht auf die Kosten. Die Weichweiche ist mit Silberlot fest verdrahtet. Der interne Draht ist ein besonders elliptischer Rohr-Silberdraht von Stereovox.

Die Princess V verfügt über einen extrem linearen Frequenzgang, sowohl auf der Achse als auch auf der Achse. Das macht ihn zu einem sehr genauen Lautsprecher in einer "realen" Umgebung, der in fast jedem Raum zu "InCognito" wird.
