Circuit Architecture and Power Supply

The HP 300 SE features a hybrid architecture engineered to preserve signal integrity. This configuration allows the preamplifier to effortlessly drive demanding power amplifiers or handle particularly long interconnect cables without suffering from attenuation or a loss of high-frequency transparency.

To shield delicate musical micro-details from electromagnetic interference, the power supply is housed in a completely separate chassis. The MC Phono Section

Line Gain Adjustment: The ability to set the line stage gain to three distinct levels allows for input sensitivity optimization based on the power amplifier or speaker efficiency, ensuring a wide, gradual control range for the volume potentiometer.

Decoupled Balanced Outputs: The XLR outputs utilize dedicated signal transformers to ensure galvanic ground isolation, complemented by a ground selector switch to eliminate ground loops or mains hum at the source.

Multichannel Integration: A direct bypass function allows the stereo system's front channels to be integrated with a Home Theater receiver, transforming the setup into a multichannel system without the need to disconnect or reposition cables. Connectivity and functions
