High-end, three-way floorstanding loudspeakers from the Swedish manufacturer Marten. Part of the renowned Heritage Series, they are dedicated to the jazz saxophone legend Stan Getz.

Designed to combine Nordic elegance with extreme acoustic precision, these speakers are distinguished by their extensive use of Accuton ceramic drivers and the incorporation of a passive radiator instead of a traditional open bass-reflex port.

Acoustic Configuration and Technology

Ceramic Drivers (Accuton): Equipped with a 1″ ceramic tweeter and a 7″ rigid ceramic midrange driver. Ceramic offers exceptional stiffness combined with extremely low mass, ensuring near-zero distortion and lightning-fast transients.

Bass Section and Passive Radiator: The low-frequency range utilizes a 9″ active woofer with a ceramic honeycomb-sandwich cone, paired with a 9″ aluminum passive radiator. This design extends the low-frequency response without the turbulent air noise or the "bloated" sound often associated with conventional bass-reflex ports.

Wiring and Components: The second-order crossover network is built using ultra-premium Mundorf components. Internal wiring consists entirely of high-purity copper cables by Jorma Design.

Cabinet: Constructed from 23 mm high-density MDF laminate with optimized internal bracing, finished in fine wood veneer or piano lacquer. It rests on stainless steel bases equipped with adjustable Marten Cones.

Sonic Character

The Marten Getz prioritize absolute transparency and timbral naturalness.

Transparency and detail: the upper-midrange is remarkably open, airy, and crystalline, without ever becoming harsh or causing listening fatigue. They effortlessly reveal the most subtle details and ambient cues within the audio signal.

Dynamic transient response: the speed of the ceramic cones allows for an exceptionally fast attack on transients (such as bowed instruments, percussion, or plucked double bass).

Authoritative and controlled bass: thanks to the passive radiator, low frequencies are fast and well-defined, free from any lingering decay or artificial bloat.

Soundstage: they create a deep, three-dimensional image that is well-detached from the speakers themselves.
